The best response to a given water problem will differ depending on several factors. These factors include the type of water source (dug well, drilled well, or surface water), the pump type (jet or submersible), any existing water treatment equipment, and the presence of other, potentially related, water problems. For this reason it is not possible to blindly apply a particular water treatment effort to any individual water problem. Despite this, this portion of the website has been designed to provide an overview of some common water problems and indicate possible courses of treatment.
